MY ARTISTIC PROCESS - ROUND SCULPTURES

I draw sketches to visualize my ideas on paper

When an idea pops in my mind: my checkbook, the program during a play,
any piece of paper...anything works for me!

For this particular piece, Rhino, I was inspired when visiting Action Wildlife in Goshen, CT
last May and I drew the sketches for it in my checkbook.

I had the round body almost done at the studio, so as soon as I got back home
I was ready to start working on its features...
